Thanks to the support of friends and donors like you, Lane Arts Council has been a cornerstone of our local arts community for almost five decades. We are the only nonprofit arts service organization supporting arts and culture at our scope and scale countywide, and one of the first to provide in-school arts education programs in Oregon. Our work is centered around the following commitments:

Creating arts learning opportunities for young people in all 16 school districts across Lane County. We are focused on supporting rural and low-income schools through artist residencies and arts integration, as well as specialized classrooms such as those serving migrant students, life skills classrooms, and students at greatest risk of drop out.

Connecting communities with accessible arts experiences in cultural centers and public spaces (such as First Friday ArtWalk) that cultivate belonging, build community, and engage artists from diverse backgrounds and creative disciplines.

Empowering artists, performers, and cultural producers to achieve their creative visions through professional development, resources, and critical project support.

Amplifying and advocating for the arts as connective threads essential to the fabric of our social, cultural, and economic wellbeing.

Donors, like you, helped us serve 11,250 students last year through our arts education programs, as well as dozens of arts venues, hundreds of artists, and thousands of people through arts experiences.

In the past five years, we expanded and deepened our programs in response to growing needs—showing up as a consistent and responsive partner to support the arts and arts education throughout Lane County. Our dedication remains unwavering and we can’t do it alone. We rely on the artists, donors, arts supporters, organizations, city agencies, and school districts who strengthen our impact together.
